Narration was not pleasing

The narrator was one of the worst I have ever heard. I do not ever do this. But this person was bland, unanimated, and boring. Yiu can clearly hear children playing and babies crying in the background. She pauses for long periods of time and takes audible deep breaths. The British accent for Charles wasn't even attempted. Actio. Or suspense scenes sounded like a lecture on a boring high-school subject... however I really enjoyed the story line and the book itself.
