I couldn’t Stop Listening
Reviewed: 04-24-24
This book was heartbreaking in that you know trafficking happens and you pray for the heroes that save them. The hero in this story is believable and you can’t help but love him. The story had me engaged from the first chapter. Charles Marin is a gifted storyteller. The narrator was awesome. It’s a must read/hear book!

Sweet Story

A refreshing sweet romance story, without the crazy conflicts and sexual details. The strength of the story was good without all that. I loved the narrator.

Story
A man with a painful past. A child with a doubtful future. And a shared journey toward healing for both their hearts... It begins on the shaded town square in a sleepy Southern town. A spirited seven-year-old has a brisk business at her lemonade stand. But the little girl’s pretty yellow dress can’t quite hide the ugly scar on her chest. The stranger understands more about it than he wants to admit. And the beat-up bread truck careening around the corner with its radio blaring is about to change the trajectory of both their lives.

A lot of medical terminology, but a rather engaging story. I would recommend it for long drives.
