Story
Before Owen Michaels disappears, he smuggles a note to his beloved wife of one year: Protect her. Despite her confusion and fear, Hannah Hall knows exactly to whom the note refers—Owen’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey. Bailey, who lost her mother tragically as a child. Bailey, who wants absolutely nothing to do with her new stepmother. As Hannah’s increasingly desperate calls to Owen go unanswered, as the FBI arrests Owen’s boss, as a US marshal and federal agents arrive at her Sausalito home unannounced, Hannah quickly realizes her husband isn’t who he said he was.

Story
I’m pushing aside the memory of my nightmare, pushing aside thoughts of Alex, pushing aside thoughts of Hana and my old school, push, push, push, like Raven taught me to do. The old life is dead. But the old Lena is dead too. I buried her.I left her beyond a fence, behind a wall of smoke and flame. Lauren Oliver delivers an electrifying follow-up to her acclaimed New York Times bests eller, Delirium. This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, forbidden romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.

It's interesting but long and skips a lot of time
Reviewed: 05-01-12
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No. It was interesting, but it was long and spanned a great many years, which meant skipping a lot of time. It was hard to get to know some of the characters for that reason.
If you’ve listened to books by Stephen Baxter before, how does this one compare?
I haven't.
Which scene was your favorite?
Grace got rescued, although you didn't really see that scene.
Could you see Flood being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No.
Any additional comments?
It was good but not great.
