Story
Reborn into a fantastical RPG-system based world, Fresh is offered a second chance at life. Initially glad to have escaped her old existence, she quickly realizes that this new one might not be much better. Her new body is too frail to follow any grand dreams of adventure, her new mind is too dulled to allow any meticulous planning or thought, and this new, seemingly colorful, kind world is anything but.

I really tried, but the dialogue is painful.

It's a decent read if you don't mind the mine character being completely useless and hearing the word "huh" spoken about 50 times in the span of 2 chapters. The main character says "huh" so much yet never gets any clarification on any of the questions she has. Improving herself is a core mantra of her character yet never improves on the negative qualities she has.

Story
When bartender Jake Steele finds a portal in an abandoned building, he does what any bored guy would do - he walks through it. He finds himself in a game-like world where his life is measured in stats, and his violence is rewarded with experience points. Under the tutelage of an animal-butchering, whore-loving master, he learns to become an alchemist. He used to mix drinks, but from now on, he's going to be mixing things that are far deadlier.

unnessesary swearing and unfunny dick jokes
Reviewed: 11-06-22
I listened to the first hour of this and cannot finish it. there are parts of this story the feel really forced and really break the flow book. The "humor" is very childish and constant, and the constant swearing in unnessesary.

"Kill. Kill them all." It's the first four words Lars usually wakes up to every morning, a voice telling him she's just giving him a "quest" that will help him "level". But even if he wanted to do it, he can't. They're cultivators: beings with ancestral bloodlines that have powers he could only dream of, while he is stuck as a puny human. Even if he could kill them, the people who bullied him, beat him, treated him like a punch-bag pariah for being a "tailless worthless human", he wouldn't. That is, until a vicious group of murderous psychopaths called a "sect" descend on his village.

The whole series is an anime with harem fan service. Just keep it in mind when listening.

Story
As a prepper, Grayson Rowan was prepared for almost anything...anything other than being totally alone when the sh*t hits the fan. While he sat back and watched the US rattle swords with Korea, play chicken with Russia, and strong-arm China, he felt sure if the lights went out that he and his family would be ready and safe. What he wasn't prepared for was his family not being home if it ever happened. Olivia Rowan is with her sisters, Gabby and Emma, on a girls-only trip to Myrtle Beach. Graysie Rowan, a freshman at university, just wants to go home.

A preppers fictional I told you so.
Reviewed: 03-31-22
The end of the world has come and gone, the world still turns the same as it's always been. The preppers haven't been able to rub it in the "sheeples" faces, so instead they decide to write a book about it to portray what it would look like. **spoilers** at the end of the book their is a disclaimer saying the political points in the book don't reflect the author, but anyone that goes against the right wing political view are either the bad guys or ends up dead. Its difficult to be invested into the characters when its painful to listen to the current political propaganda thought out the book.

what happens when the rangers play DnD
Reviewed: 12-19-21
A Surprisingly exciting story! 100% worth the read. I didn't think that dropping Rangers in a DnD game would be a good read but I'm glad that I was wrong. The world build is great, and you get attached to the characters quickly. I'm going to immediately jump into the next book!
