Story
How can we keep contempt out of our disagreements? And why should we? Arthur talks to John Gottman, who’s spent most of his career as a social psychologist studying contempt within relationships. He is the co-founder of the Gottman Institute in Seattle, where he does work with married couples, and shares his insights on the corrosive nature of contempt, and how we can get out of the habit of expressing it, both in our personal relationships, and more broadly, as a nation. Story
When Alessandra Lamont is nearly blown to pieces in a mafia hit, the last thing she wants is to place her trust into the hands of sexy, loose-cannon federal agent Harry O'Dell, who'll do whatever it takes to bring the mob down - even if it means sticking like glue to this blonde bombshell who unwittingly married into it. She needs him if she wants to stay alive, and he needs her if he is to exact his revenge for the death of his wife and son.

The information in this book is fascinating! I have often wondered why my body changed so much over the years (gained a lot of midsection weight), even though my eating habits didn't (still ate moderate amounts of processed foods)!! This book has actual factual long term study results listed, and so many helpful ways and examples to help me understand it all. It also lists examples and help in practicing the suggestions made. I actually understand 95% of everything that was thrown at me after my first time reading it. I am going to read/listen to it again. If I was more linguistically capable I could adequately share the information in this book with everyone I love! I accept my limitations and my strengths, and I will continue to share rhe information in this book and the title with the people I love. I have started by purchasing the hard copy for my boyfriend.

Story
Centuries ago, Sebastian Wroth was turned into a vampire - a nightmare in his mind - against his will. Burdened with hatred and alone for ages, he sees little reason to live - until an exquisite, fey creature comes to kill him, inadvertently saving him instead. When Kaderin the Cold Hearted lost her two beloved sisters to a vampire attack long ago, a benevolent force deadened her sorrow - accidentally extinguishing all of her emotions. Yet whenever she encounters Sebastian, her feelings emerge multiplied.
