Story
Ash’s life is anything but normal these days. Having discovered his Dao, he’s grown in power. Grown to the point that others are now aware of him and that he could be a danger. In this world of martial arts, only the strong and the ruthless survive. Everyone else is merely a stepping stone on their path of Cultivation or an obstacle to be overcome—or knocked down. It’s a world where the strong rule and the weak die.

Romance over cultivation
Reviewed: 01-11-24
This book was a let down. The story and plot progressed forward slower than a snails pace and did not get anywhere.
This book was more of a romance/ light porn fantasy than an actual cultivation novel. 80% of this book leaned more in flirting, lewd thoughts, sexual innuendos, bed talk, and just an over all horny teenage fantasy.
There was little to almost none in the ways of cultivation and desperate struggles. The plot from the other books seemed to be almost completely ignored with only a few mentions about other veils or wraiths.
I couldn't wait for this book to end. It was too cringy. hopefully the next book lives up to the possible potential of the series.

Story
The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn. At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters. This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

as much as i like the series, i was honestly disappointed at how little Erin was in this volume. i loved how other character stories built up but disliked all the bouncing around to different people. it was like combining many short stories and trying to create a book or of them.

Story
Utilizing the Hall, the voice in his head that calls itself Locke, those who have aligned with his faction, and all the powers available to him, Ash has begun his own journey of Cultivation. Except that as a Fated One, his journey is a narrow and winding path between two cosmic forces. Each one vying for dominance. That doesn’t even take into account the royal family or the Realm Lord. This is his third step in his life as a Cultivator.

way more sexual contents than the previous books. although enjoyable, could have had more growth with combat and abilities. this book was mostly a romance novel.

this part in the series made me lol so hard on a few parts. it bounced around a little more than i like and there were parts i didn't fully listen too (where the mc wasn't involved) and so followed the storyline just fine. everything tied in great.

Who is the MC?
Reviewed: 10-30-21
The first few hours of the book mostly followed background characters over Jason. This didn't just happen in the first few hours, it happened constantly. You would question as to what Jason was doing when events were unfolding and then he swoops in like a background character with almost no dialog.
The third book seemed to have lost its luster compared to the first two books. Felt extremely rushed. A bunch of time skips. The tower didn't seem fun anymore as they focused on just two floors.

Story
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

the story was great. I enjoyed almost every minute. The thing that already made me stop listening was the constant ramblings of the 2 main characters. rambling on with complaints, short comings, and then repeating the same stuff in the 10 min segment of ramblings.
