Story
It's totally normal to fall in love with an audiobook narrator's voice, right? Right. Just ask Vera, who listens to "her" guy whenever and wherever she can: while driving, working, parenting, cooking, cleaning, showering...you name it. But now, she's bringing him into the bedroom. And her husband is less than pleased.

This book was ridiculous. Not only is it an all star cast, but the play itself is also great. I laughed out loud multiple times. If you're looking for something to kill a couple of hours, definitely check it out! The bloopers are so fun and the sneak peek at the author's next book has me so excited! Definitely one of my favorite listens so far this year.

Story
My past comes back to terrorize me. Someone wants me dead, and the closer I get to the truth, the more I realize my whole life is a lie. I am no longer sure what is more frightening - the attempts on my life or the guy whose heart and soul are synchronized with mine.

This was a great book. The narrator actually does a decent male voice. She does an Irish accent as well and it's adorable. The storyline was not like anything I had read/listened to before. I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be checking out the rest of the series!

I actually really loved this book. The narrator is one of my favorites. This was my first time hearing her do a bit of an Irish accent and it was swoony. The story is the perfect mix of an intriguing plot and romance. I really enjoyed it and will definitely pick up the rest of the series on audio.

Story
When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

This book had a lot of buzz around it and for good reason. The narrators did an absolute fantastic job of bringing the story to life. The story itself was great. I loved the twist on reality. There's an excellent mix of humor and steam. I absolutely will buy more from these narrators and author!

Story
Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired. Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig. It went downhill the moment they asked me to do a trial shift instead of an interview - to see if I'd mesh with their "special" clientele. I think that part went great. Their customers were complete dickheads, and I was an asshole right back. That's the definition of fitting in, right? I expected to get thrown out on my ass. Instead, they...offered me the job?

When I first started to listen to the book I wasn't certain about the narrator, but she did a fabulous job. The story was fun and intriguing. There's not a lot of romance, but the storyline was intriguing enough without it. I will definitely pick up the next book once it's available.

I really love this series. I adore the narrators voice. She does both male and female voices in a great way and each character always has a distinct personality. The story is not like one I've read or listened to before. I'm really enjoying all the different supernatural creatures and how their lives are overlapping. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

I really enjoyed this story. I love the narrator. Her male voices are pretty great, and she reads with great fluidity which allows me to sink into the story. As for the book, the plot had me very intrigued. I love the way that the book is broken up so it's almost like a series in one book. The plot was something I hadn't read before, and I'm excited to see what happens in the next book. There is a bit of a love triangle and a bit of abuse that happens, so if either of those turn you off, this is not the book for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will definitely be grabbing book 2!

Heartbreakingly Beautiful
Reviewed: 02-26-18
This beautifully tragic story is narrated by the person who lived it. While it's not as polished as a professionally narrated book, the first hand account is gritty and raw. The story is told with lessons she's learned interwoven like motivational breaks. Though the story is about a burn victim, the story is relatable to anyone who suffered from trauma. Make sure to pack your tissues, this author will have you crying from sorrow and amazement at her strength. If life had you feeling down, pick up this book. It will change your life.
