I enjoyed this book, but I don't know if it did enough to make me listen to the rest of the series. the ties to Greek mythology were great, but I didn't love percy or his companions. maybe in the future I'll try the second book to see if it grabs me more. I'd say 3.5 stars overall.

I loved Dooku Lost and Tempest Runner. that being said, This was awful. There was little plot to follow and Aphras character was as unlikable as humanly possible. It was like listening to the most annoying, sassy, and woke teenager on the planet. do not was a credit or money on this audiobook. some of the voice actors were good but the woman who played aphra made this a dreadful experience. if it wasn't so short, I would've never finished.

This is a great book if you're looking to get into King. it isn't too long by his standards but it does drag a bit at times with alot of filler and I would say necessary information. the ending was solid but played out quicker than expected. I would not quite give this a 5 star but a for sure 4.5.

This book was confusing and hard to finish. Characters went by kultiple names. Pronouns were used in fast paced scenes which caused confusion. I get the visions idea but I don't think star wars should even be in the title. The performance was ok but the plot was all over in this one. There never seemed to be a clear goal. It constantly changed. It was just very poorly written. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone ever.

This book is amazing with or without the SW ties

This is my favorite star wars novel. John Jackson Miller writes a gem with twist and turns that keep your head spinning until the very end. Jonathan Davis is as astounding as ever in this tile. He is honestly undefeated when it comes to Star Wars narration. This book could be for Star wars fans, and could stand alone even without those ties. It has an amazing cast of likable characters and characters you hate. That truly makes a story for me and the plot is very small scale but unmatched for a Star Wars book. This is everything the Kenobi Disney Plus series should've been but wasn't. I urge everyone to read or listen to this book. Star Wars fans and people who just love books/audiobooks alike. It will not disappoint.

A really solid origin story for Kanan and Hera

I thought this was a very good star wars book. Kanan is the only thing that made it not 5 stars for me. His character was too dissimilar from the show to the point where it didn't seem like the same person. Hera, Skelly, and Zaluna were all great. I also loved Count Vidian who may be the best Villain in any star wars novel. In the name of production and efficiency he will do anything. He is the best of what star wars offers in the scope of small time villains. John Jackson Miller did a great job as always with this one, and Marc Thompson shined as well with much variety in his voice acting.

I really liked this story. It shows you how Palpatine made his original rise to power with the help of his master dark Plagueis. It has some action, but is more fueled by political story. This story takes an innocent boy and turns him into the Palpatine that we all know and love. I really liked Plagueis in this story as well. I think it is an essential if you want to truly understand Palpatine and how he came to be prior to The Phantom Menace.

I thought this book had some great content on how to improve in small increments. The narration gets a bit stale as it goes, but overall I would recommend this book. I personally took a few nuggets from it that I now use professionally.

I loved the narration in this, but the story was a bit flat. I loved the addition of Averos in this novel. I thought he was a great character. I also loved how Dooku and Jinn's relationship was examined. I just felt the rest was slightly lack luster. I do feel the ending was the best part. It was just underwhelming to that point. Jonathan Davis was amazing as always.
