Story
When Katy’s mother dies, she is left reeling. Carol wasn’t just Katy’s mom, but her best friend and first phone call. She had all the answers and now, when Katy needs her the most, she is gone. To make matters worse, their planned mother-daughter trip of a lifetime looms: to Positano, the magical town where Carol spent the summer right before she met Katy’s father. Katy has been waiting years for Carol to take her, and now she is faced with embarking on the adventure alone.

It was ok

I loved the escapism of imagining the beauty of Italy, but I couldn’t relate to the main character or her motivations and decision making. Overall it was ok and enjoyable enough, but never really gripped me in the way some books have.

Inspirational, but not always realistic.

It was interesting to hear about what's happening in different countries but not really possible to implement in my own life. We just don't have a society that will take care of us like Singapore, for instance. And I laughed out loud when he said we should take 6 weeks of vacation no matter what. Yeah, tell that to every job that exists in this country.
Overall I enjoyed it and though it was interesting, but a lot of the advice wasn't really applicable to Americans who are interested in remaining employed

Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!
