The Moondial

Legend has it that a Calender will deliver the seven worlds from Fell Craven. Peter Calender finds himself alone and lost in a new land where others believe he is the one to save them and restore the laws that govern the Seven Worlds. Peter doubts that he is the child of the prophecy, but events lead him into dangers that he could never have imagined. Death and destruction lurk at every turn and one false step could lead to disaster.

Heavy rock music dominates society both as entertainment and competition. The Battle of the Bands is the opportunity for local rivalries to come to the fore. The winners reap the glory and the losers suffer the consequences. One band has stood the test of time, Insatt and the Saters, but trouble is brewing, secrets are discovered, and the chasm that is growing puts the world in danger.

Prophecy tells of a boy that could save the Seven Worlds after the fall of the Moondial and the scattering of the seven stones of power. Peter Calender is that boy. He had been given the Moonstone, one of the stones of power. Death, betrayal and evil all follow in his wake as he tries to make sense of his ever-changing life. Alone in a strange land, he is in need of help, and this comes from unusual sources.

The Moondial has been broken and the Stones of Power scattered. The Laws are failing and the future is thrust into the hands of teenager, Peter Calender. He has been tested and been close to death but discovered an inner strength he did not know he possessed. On his journey, he has found friendship, discovered that magic is more than a part of fairy tales, and been hunted by forces of unimaginable evil. His life will never return to the innocence of childhood, and his passage into adulthood is unlike any other.

It had all seemed so easy. Peter just entered the garden of the old house and his world changed for ever. He found himself part of a desperate struggle to save the Seven Worlds from the breaking of the Moondial and the failing of the Laws that brought order to the lives of those who dwell on each of these worlds. Peter struggles to come to terms with his role in these strange lands, where it is prophesied he will find the seven Stones of Power and restore the Moondial.
