Teargarden: The Winged Spider Series

Legend has it the one who possess the Xaphorax is destined to become the Vomendar, the one who will end the world. The prophecy of the Zordaedre tells of someone who will one day change the world. The people of Teargarden believe Xorvan to be the Zordaedre, but his own people the Gaelorians believe his sword, the Devil's Rose, to be the mighty Xaphorax. Fearing Xorvan to be the Vomendar, the Theram Empire and the Gaelorians now lay siege to Teargarden in a last-ditch effort to capture Xorvan and eliminate the threat of the Vomendar.
