Tower 7 has gone completely dark, and security androids are killing civilians. No one knows what has become of the tower's 520,000 residents or who is responsible for the mysterious assault, but the priority of the mission is clear. Tycho and Gabriel must breach the tower, investigate the missing civilians, and locate the one responsible…all while trying to stay alive.

Despite the authority of the Sol Federation, major corporations hold most of the power. When the head of one such company, Chief Executive Julian Huxley, is killed, his body is left undiscovered for over three years. Arbiter Tycho Barrett is sent to investigate the executive's death, but what he finds reveals more than he could have imagined. Now, Tycho must search for an android who was once human, forcing him to question everything around him.

Framed for the murder of an influential leader, Section 9 is left scattered and exposed deep within hostile territory. Tycho and Section 9 must now cross the eastern half of the divided city to reach the safety of the west. Along the way, enemies of all kind will hunt them, including corporate enforcers, syndicate bounty hunters, and a specialized unit of monstrous technological chimera.

Tycho Barrett is grievously wounded during a mission to seize this technology from aboard a ship docked in a remote settlement on Europa, his life saved with cutting-edge cybernetic augmentation. Tycho and Section 9 must now race against both time and a revenant from the past to recapture the ship and its cargo before the trail vanishes and The Eleven once again return to the shadows.

The evidence implicates officials at the highest levels of the North Atlantic States government, potentially igniting an interplanetary war between every world and colony in the Sol system. Tycho and Section 9 must work to prevent the killing, uncover the assassins, and - if necessary - suppress the truth. Their efforts see the return of a man from Tycho’s past and the true extent of The Eleven’s power is laid bare, signaling the beginning of Section 9’s end.

In 2856, Tycho Barrett and Andrea Capanelli are on the run, pursued by Sol Federation agents and assassin Mimics under the command of The Eleven. Andrea believes the Federation is compromised at the highest levels. As they reunite Section 9's field team to recover evidence and expose the truth, the sudden death of an operative leads Tycho to suspect Andrea herself, but can he trust his eyes and ears? When filtered through a haze of augmented data, can anyone truly know objective reality?
