Centuries after a mysterious war ended, and with their only food source disappearing, survivors Royah, Buddy, and the giant of a man known as Onnin embark on a seemingly impossible quest to prevent humanity’s extinction. They must learn what was behind the devastation on the war-scorched planet they call home and why their ancestors were sent there in the first place. Yet their journey is no simple task, as many dangerous enemies want them to fail, while others want to murder them for the limited supplies they carry.

Deep in space, the inhabitants of Planet Home regularly dig up broken-down relics of war, but this time, they’ve discovered something different: a map with a cryptic destination. The location is meant to be found, but only few people know about it - including Royah.

Trekking across the war-scorched Planet Home on their quest to battle extinction, Royah has gained allies, including the giant of a man known - and feared - as Onnin. Royah is fortunate to have the giant on her side as they are being stalked by many dangerous enemies. Trigger-happy savages, madmen, and even cannibals litter the landscape.

Royah’s destination is in sight, and the answers to all her questions about why humans were abandoned in deep space, how they can survive, and how they can avoid extinction are within reach. All of the answers are at her fingertips. But she encounters a deadly new foe at the worst possible time - a man with all the power in the world and an army at his back. If she refuses his demands, he will unleash a weapon of mass destruction, forever ending Royah’s quest - and her life.
