Paths of Exile

This second volume continues the narrative of testimony that began in the first volume. It describes the efforts of refugee families whose conditions were reduced to below zero by the Nakba, in their quest to secure shelter, food, clothing, and education for their children.

هذا المجلّد الثالث يتابع سرد الحكاية الفلسطينية في المنفى . يبدأ بالعام 1958 الذي شهد انضمام سورية إلى مصر في دولة الجمهورية العربية المتحدة ، كما شهد تبلور السعي الفلسطينيّ لإعادة بناء الحركة الوطنيّة الفلسطينية التي دمرتها نكبةُ 1948. ويُغطّي المجلّد الفترة من 1958 حتى 1963، أي الى العام الذي تسلّم فيه السلطة في سورية التحالف الذي ضمّ حزب البعث العربي الإشتراكي والحركة الناصريّة وهو ذاته العام الذي شهد انفكاك هذا التحالف ودخول طرفيه في صراع دام هو صراع الذي بلغ ذروته في 18 تموز/يوليو 1963 ،

In this fourth volume, the testimony covers the events of the period from 1963 to 1968 and many of its secrets. This coverage includes the consequences of the bloody Baathist-Nasserite conflict and the events of the Baath Party’s monopoly of power in Syria, and before that in the roads, as well as the events that led to the 1967 Arab-Israeli war and many of its secrets.
