America, we gotta get back to doing what's expected of us as free citizens in this democracy. That means being tolerant, being respectful, staying informed, and being engaged. I'm former Congressman Joe Walsh. Follow me here and join the millions of Americans who are renewing their social contract with each other. The social contract. It's on us.

  • Stop With The Dangerous Partisanship. BOTH Sides Commit Political Violence
    Jun 16 2025
Upon hearing of the horrible politically motivated shootings in Minnesota over the weekend, damn near everyone instantly tried to prove the killer came from the “other side.” That’s all social media cared about all weekend. Not how horrible and tragic this event was, but rather looking only to score political points off of the killings. We have to be better than this.

  • Be Righteously Pissed Off This Weekend But Stay Peaceful
    Jun 13 2025
Quick hits this Friday: thank you Israel for once again doing the work of the free world; Kristi Noem said our military is going to overthrow the governments of Los Angeles and California; and, please ignore Trump’s Kim Jong Un parade tomorrow.

  • Trump, And Only Trump, Created All These Crises
    Jun 12 2025
The economy was doing really well when Trump was sworn in. And there were no trade wars when Trump was sworn in. And border crossings had been dropping precipitously for over a year when Trump was sworn in. There was no immigrant “invasion.” So if you think things are in crisis right now, then there’s only one person to blame - Trump. Am I right?

Joe is a good listen, he tries to see both sides, while still passionately holding onto his beliefs.
He’s real, respectful, but has no issue calling out the bull$hit. He’s also is someone who has no fear, in other words, not afraid to call it as he sees it. He’ll weigh the pro’s and con’s. And he’s changed his views and admits when he’s made mistakes. Joe is a refreshing ex politician and a good listen.

Passionate, powerful, honest and open to other opinions

it's refreshing to listen to a political podcast without having to listen to someone bang on about one side or the other in an openly hostile fashion. We definitely need less hostility and more listening (and hearing) in our political dialogue. Joe has been putting on these style podcasts since he realized that our democracy is in trouble and this new show is just what we need. I don't agree with everything he says but if he's willing to let everyone have their say, I am too. Compromise is a dirty word these days, but it's the only option in a democracy.

Same Joe, new podcast, and worthy of a listen.

This is the political show that we need to be listening to. In this age of "I only wanna hear you if you agree with what I say", This show is a MUST LISTEN!.
