- Colossians 3:23 says: “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
I’d like to share 3 faith-based motivation truths with you, and I’d like you to tuck them in your heart: Are you ready?
- Your health is a form of worship, we read in (Romans 12:1).
- Small steps of obedience matter.Remember, it’s about obedience over the outcome?
- Motivation flows from mission, not mood. I don’t believe in motivation to be honest but it’s a word we throw around so I’d like to challenge you to a new way of thinking around motivation. It flows from MISSION. What is your mission? Do you know? Is it to be a certain weight or pants size? Is it to be a better parent or more attractive to your spouse? What if it started from a desire to serve the Lord? What if all the rest flows from Him first? I mean, we KNOW it does, yet so often we’re so worried about everyone else, we forget that He has them too.
- Here are a few things I’d like you to do :
- 1st, Write your “why” rooted in faith. Not weight loss or abs, but prayerfully and with Holy Spirit guidance. Why do you want to lose weight? How will it serve God?
- Next- Create a quick “motivation menu” (Scripture, worship, quick prayer, favorite Christian podcast). Which works best for you? Lord give me what I need is my favorite prayer and one I HOPE you’re praying since listening to this podcast.
- Lastly- Pick 1 of the above motivators to start your day tomorrow. Which will you choose? Don’t forget to join the free community and share yours in the group!
