    Mar 13 2025

The gang digs into the turmoil surrounding ActBlue, the Democratic fundraising powerhouse, as a wave of high-level resignations sparks questions about its stability. Then, they turn to SXSW, where the once-iconic festival struggles to regain its pre-pandemic buzz. With Michelle Obama’s podcast panel headlining and startup culture shifting elsewhere, they ask: Has SXSW lost its edge, or is it still a must-attend event?

An excellent confluence of political discourse

I've been listening to Heaton's The Political Orphanage for about a year or so now, and one fine day, some months back, he featured an episode of We're Not Wrong in lieu of another diatribe on the damage done by restrictive zoning. As disappointed as I was to not listen to him wax poetic about how the zoning regulations killed significant portions of Wallace's lineage, that episode DID introduce me to Jen and Justin. This show has been part of my 'day 1 listen' list ever since.

You likely won't agree with everything they say, but they are honest, and do an excellent job of (usually) backing their opinions with decent rationale. If you like politics, but hate politicians? This is worth your time!
