  • In today's episode, Brian and Jamie discuss their top 5 take-aways from the annual XO Marriage Conference they attended in the DFW area on Valentine weekend. From a variety of doctors, clinicials, psychologists, pastors, and marriage experts, they loved the way that every single speaker/presenter normalized all of the issues that we ALL go through. They discuss the Passion, Intimacy, Commitment triangle, the inverted bell curve of marital satisfaction over time, the importance of hormones in everything, especially libido health, and the "mental load" that many women report as being the number one sex killer in their marriage. They end with how much they enjoyed the conference, and the awareness it brings to the important work they do, and how thankful Brian is that during the vow renewal ceremony at the end, Jamie said yes!!! Whew!
