  • This week, Dave and Neil begin their coverage of The Last of Us as HBO's prestige fungal apocalypse drama returns to Sunday nights.

    In The Calm [08:30], they break down the episode, discuss the new additions to the cast, assess the adaptation choices and reshuffling of events from the video game, and consider the critical survival tactic of using empty beer bottles to distract Clickers.

    Then in The Storm [45:44], they make some much-needed adjustments to their season two predictions after the first episode and react in real-time as HBO releases new promo material for episode two during their recording session.
