The Last Message to Israel: Part2 He Must Rebuild The Temple

Amos Chapter 9
11 “On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old.
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,
and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,”
Says the Lord who does this thing.

Because of this people are saying that the temple must be and will be rebuilt so that sacrifices may resume for Israel once again. Some Jewish people say that their Messiah will rebuild it, and this Messiah will be human, and not a God. But some Christians say Israel will rebuild it, not to replace the sacrifice of Jesus but to bring Israel back to God. When we hear things like this it can be quite confusing to those who are new as Christians. So let us look at what is going on here.
