  • Episode 8: Jeff Foxworthy Interview - Laughs & Life Lessons
    Jun 10 2025

In this can't-miss episode, Joe sits down with the one and only Jeff Foxworthy for a heart-hitting, laugh-out-loud conversation about comedy, faith, fatherhood, and the kind of love that won’t let you go.

    What You’ll Hear:

    • How Jeff went from fixing IBM machines to doing 500+ comedy shows a year

    • Why encouragement became his way of life (thanks to Chick-fil-A’s Truett Cathy)

    • The night he crushed it on Johnny Carson — and what came next

    • Saying no to "fame" so he could say yes to being a present dad

    • Running a Bible study for homeless men for 12 years

    • The lost Bible story that’ll knock the wind out of you (in the best way)

A top line? “If they’re breathing, they need encouragement.” 🫶

Most goosebump moment? “I love you too”—what Jeff says to God when he sees something beautiful.

For anyone who needs to hear: You are loved. You are not too far gone. God’s not done with you.

Tune in, laugh hard, cry a little, and leave lighter. (Available on YouTube under Joe Davis Media + on all podcast platforms under The Joe Davis Show.)

  • Episode 7: Little Brother
    Jun 3 2025

Have you ever felt like you just can’t measure up—to a sibling, a co-worker, or even your own expectations? You’re not alone. In this deeply relatable episode, Joe unpacks the often-overlooked story of James, the younger brother of Jesus, and what it means to grow up in the shadow of perfection.

From living alongside someone who literally never did anything wrong to openly doubting who Jesus truly was, James' journey is one of struggle, transformation, and ultimately, powerful purpose. Joe draws a compelling connection between our modern battles with comparison and the remarkable shift that occurred in James’ life after encountering the risen Christ.

You’ll walk away with a renewed sense of hope, purpose, and assurance that you don’t have to measure up—you just have to surrender. God can do extraordinary things with an ordinary, surrendered life. Just ask James.

  • Episode 6: Live Like You Were Dying
    May 27 2025

In this powerful and heartfelt episode of The Joe Davis Show, Joe shares a deeply personal reflection sparked by a recent conversation with a longtime friend — a conversation that offered a sobering reminder we all need to hear: none of us are promised tomorrow.

Through honest storytelling, emotional memories, and timely inspiration from music, scripture, and real-life moments, Joe poses a life-altering question: What would you do differently if you truly lived like you were dying? But this episode goes beyond bucket lists or dramatic gestures. It's a call to live with more intention, to love harder, to forgive sooner, and to embrace the moments that matter most.

Joe doesn’t just talk about the idea — he shares how he’s putting it into action in his own life and challenges listeners to consider what that might look like for them. Whether you're wrestling with loss, feeling spiritually stuck, or just in need of a fresh perspective, this episode offers encouragement, purpose, and a moving reminder that your life is meant for more.

Don’t miss this one — it might just change the way you approach the rest of your week… or the rest of your life.
