In this episode, I’m diving into a truth we rarely hear: self-love is actually the highest form of discipline. So much of what we’re told about discipline is centered around forcing ourselves through workouts or diets, but real discipline is about choosing to love ourselves even in a world constantly telling us we’re not enough.

I’m sharing why dragging yourself through routines you hate isn’t discipline, and how building an environment that supports your success is key. I challenge you to do the hardest thing of all—love yourself first. Because when your actions come from self-love instead of self-loathing, everything from your fitness goals to your personal development takes on new meaning and momentum.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Email me at daryl@yourlevelfitness.com and let’s talk about what living an inside/out life means for you.

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m getting real about the tension between automation and authentic communication. I talk about how I absolutely use tools like AI and if-this-then-that workflows to save time and create content, but the key is what we do with the time these tools free up. For me, it’s all about meaningful, two-way conversations rather than just pumping out more and more content.

I share how I’ve been refining the Your Level Fitness programs in the background, testing new ways to connect and help people without getting swept up in the noise of social media trends. I open up about how marketing often preys on our insecurities, why authenticity can feel risky but necessary, and how we all have a story to tell that’s worth sharing without watering ourselves down.

I dive into how we navigate the balance between protecting our personal lives while still showing up online as our true selves, and why leaning into what makes you uniquely you is the best way to cut through the noise.

Let me know your thoughts on how you’re handling all of this in your own life. Email me any time at daryl@yourlevelfitness.com

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m diving into the story behind my daily coffee cup posts and the handwritten messages I share across social media. I open up about how my cerebral palsy made me self-conscious about my handwriting for years, and how sharing those handwritten notes has become both a personal challenge and a creative pursuit.

We talk about the buzz around authenticity online, and why I believe true connection comes from putting real parts of ourselves out there, even the imperfect ones. I also share how practicing my handwriting for these posts has become a way to face an old insecurity and turn it into something positive for myself and for others who read the messages.

If you’ve ever felt hesitant to share your creative work because of insecurity or fear of judgment, this episode is for you. Let’s keep putting out optimism, realness, and hope into the world… even if it’s scribbled on a coffee cup before the first sip of the day!
