  • BYE ABE!! ITS BEEN REAL!!
    May 29 2025

This week on The Blonde Hour, I’m recapping my trip to Louisiana—hot weather, good food, and even better stories. Then we dive into The Blonde Report, where things get a little reflective, a little educational, and totally worth the listen.

The Blonde Report this week covers:

🧠 Body & Brain: 5 eating habits that can actually help you sleep better (because yes, I could nap any time, anywhere)

✝️ Latest Tea: Honoring the late Phil Robertson by sharing the wisdom and faith he poured into the world

🪙 On Our Planet: The U.S. says goodbye to the penny—Abe, it’s been real

👵🏼 Near & Dear: A reminder that true friendship knows no age limit… especially when it starts at 100

🏒 Duh, Sports: Team USA hockey makes history—and gives us a reason to cheer

🇺🇸 Extra Dose: A teen builds a veterans memorial for his hometown—an older story, but a perfect nod to Memorial Day

  • Miracles, Mountains, and Moving Forward
    May 15 2025

This week on The Blonde Hour, I start off with a classic life update—because you know I can’t keep things short. I’ve been watching my favorite shows (The Pitt, 9-1-1, and The Last of Us) and they’ve been delivering. I also picked up a book for the first time in forever and WOW, I forgot how good reading is. Like why did no one tell me??

Then, what was supposed to be a quick story turns into a full-on travel diary. I just got back from the most beautiful trip with my family—we went to Jackson Hole, stayed in Teton Village, and explored Yellowstone like little outdoorsy legends. So many laughs, cute memories, and one story that may or may not involve bears. You’ll have to listen.

And of course, we wrap it all with this week’s Blonde Report—six chaotic, inspiring, and sometimes straight-up unbelievable segments:

    • Body & Brain: Meet Vanellope Wilkins, born with her heart outside her body. In 2017, 50 surgeons worked together to put it back in—and now she’s thriving. Actual superhero origin story.

    • Latest Tea: We have a brand new pope! Pope Leo is in the Vatican building things (metaphorically), and I’ve got all the random facts about him you didn’t know you needed.

    • Our Planet: Three genius teens invented a salt-powered fridge called Thermavault. It works without electricity and sounds fake—but it’s totally real and kind of iconic.

    • Near & Dear: Linwood Riddick just graduated from college at 80 years old. Yes, 8-0. Proof that it’s never too late to chase a dream. Or get a cap and gown moment.

    • Duh Sports: The Kentucky Derby had its drama, its horses, and its winners—so obviously I break it all down like I know how horse racing works.

    • Extra Dose: Disney just announced a brand-new park. Dreams are coming true, wallets are trembling, and I’m already mentally in line for a churro.

This episode is your reminder to live a little—read a book, take a trip, chase a dream, or invent a fridge if you’re feeling ambitious. Life’s wild. Let’s talk about it.

  • JUST KEEP GOING
    May 1 2025

This week on The Blonde Hour, I’m giving you all the life updates first—because YES, your girl saw not one but twomovies (The Accountant 2 and Warfare) and honestly? Both slapped. I also hit up a neighborhood garage sale and walked away a changed woman (and maybe with someone’s old picture frame, don’t judge). Work has been amazing, the vibes are vibing, and for once—I’ve got nothing to complain about. We love a peaceful queen era.

Then we dive into The Blonde Report, your six-stop rollercoaster of wild news, unexpected inspiration, and random facts you didn’t know you needed:

    • Body & Brain: A paralyzed man is literally typing with his thoughts thanks to Neuralink. We’re officially in sci-fi territory and my brain hurts just thinking about it (pun intended).
    • Latest Tea: Selena Gomez went to prom. At a mall. In 2025. With a limo, cheesy photos and Benny Blanco. It’s giving teen movie realness, and I’m so here for it.
    • Our Planet: Scientists discovered a completely new color called “olo.” A blue-green you've never seen, can't describe, and now desperately want in nail polish.
    • Near & Dear: Darren Awol was told he’d never walk again after being shot—but now, he’s taking on the London Marathon. With elbow crutches, a wheelchair, and pure determination, he’s redefining resilience. Grab tissues.
    • Duh Sports: The NFL Draft wasn’t just picks and plays—it was dads crying, surprise proposals, and heartfelt moments that tackled our emotions harder than any linebacker.
    • Extra Dose: Rockalina, a 50-year-old box turtle, was just returned to the wild after decades as a pet—and her little turtle toes finally touched grass. We love a soft, slow girl era.

This whole episode is a reminder that no matter where you’re at, or how weird life feels—don’t give up. Not on yourself, not on others, not even on that garage sale lamp you think might be haunted. Keep showing up. Keep turning the page. You’ve got this.

  • SCIENCE IS SO COOL
    Apr 24 2025

Life’s been lifing, and I’ve got stories. My sister was in town which always means things get loud and hilarious. I finally conquered my fear and hopped on the RZR, checked out a local art show, and went to see Sinners with Michael B. Jordan—which, spoiler alert, was actually amazing.

Then we jump into The Blonde Report—aka the segment where I break down the news in a way that won’t put you to sleep. From robots running marathons in Beijing, to Jalen Hurts saying “I do,” to womb transplant miracles, space discoveries, Ryan Gosling going intergalactic, and remembering Pope Francis—this episode covers it all.

If you like your news with a side of laughs and absolutely no pressure to pronounce hard words, this one’s for you.

    Apr 17 2025

This week on The Blonde Hour, I share some quick life updates—I survived a scary movie, started a new job position, and got perfectly crispy at the pool. Then I break down the BLONDE Report: from how scrolling affects your brain to a historic all-women spaceflight, Rory McIlroy’s emotional Masters win, and his daughter’s viral Par 3 moment. We also talk about Kia cleaning up the ocean, and a janitor’s sweet act of kindness for a little girl. It’s news, it’s heart, it’s chaos—in the best way.

  • I FINALLY FOUND MY PURPOSE HERE
    Apr 10 2025

This week on The Blonde Hour, we’re starting off with some chaotic life updates—like the unexpected gnat invasion in my house (spoiler: it was the plant I’ve had forever… she’s been healed, don’t worry). I also soaked up some sun this weekend and got my first official burn of the summer—classic blonde move—but hey, at least my face had SPF!

Then we dive into something even bigger: a BIG change for the podcast. I’m turning The Blonde Hour into your weekly dose of positivity. In a world full of negativity, I want this space to feel like sunshine in your earbuds. I want to be that bright moment in your dark week, your reminder that there’s still good, light, and laughter out there.

I’m so excited (and so serious) about this shift. My heart is soooo in this, and I hope you leave this episode feeling a little lighter, brighter, and, of course, blonder.

  • THE UNSENT LETTERS
    Apr 3 2025

Big changes are happening! I’m starting a new job, and I truly feel like this is the right move for me. Plus, KJ and I have decided to put a pause on moving—for now. Instead, we’re making our apartment feel more like home with some much-needed redecorating. Oh, and if you haven’t already, go watch Survivor with Eva and Joe ASAP.

Then, we’re diving into something that’s been on my mind lately: unsent letters. You know those letters you write but never send? I started thinking about them after rewatching Someone Great (because why does that breakup letter scene hit so hard?!). Writing something out can be so healing, even if no one ever reads it. So, I went down a Reddit rabbit hole, and let me tell you—these unsent letters are WILD. Some will break your heart, some will make you laugh, and some will just make you think. Grab some tissues, press play, and maybe grab a pen—you might be inspired to write one of your own.
