In this episode, we meet a man with more money than emotional intelligence and a woman who mistakes brooding tantrums for flirting. If there's one thing we can take away from this book, it's that we do not feel sorry for billionaires.

Verity is a story of all antagonists, plus a female main character who seems to be allergic to good choices and healthy boundaries. We wouldn't say we enjoyed reading it, but we sure loved talking about all the parts that baffled us!

What’s better than sexy vampires? Frankly, nearly anything besides this book, which is chock full of the worst “intimate” scenes, offensive language, a meandering plot, and callbacks to the worst parts of the 90s. It’s hard to get your hands on a copy these days, and that’s probably for the best. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
