The Athenaeum, like that of the great Library of Alexandria, is a place for those stories to be told. The stories of hardship, loss, joy, growth and more. Dr. Neil Hammerschlag joins us today here at The Athenaeum for another immaculate episode. Dr. Neil keeps us informed on the overfishing and the bycatch of sharks and other marine species. We talk about the tragedy of Dead Zones and the lack of oxygen in some ocean areas. His favorite shark is the Tiger Shark and we discuss the possibilities of a world without sharks and the ripple effects that such a catastrophe would have.   https://sharkresearch.rsmas.miami.edu/

On the podcast tonight, I am honored to be speaking with model and participant of the Heart Foundation, Asha Grigg. Asha willingly gives her testimony about living with heart failure (Cardio-myopathy and mitral valve regurgitation) from the early age of 17. She talks about inner peace and finding happiness within one's true self and standing up for the voices of women in the workforce. I also remind everyone about the "seed" analogy once again and Asha speaks about sending a message.
