Bio

Steve Neill is a special effects makeup artist, filmmaker, puppeteer, model maker and visual effects (VFX) artist in film and television with a career spanning over 35 years.

Steve started in the Industry at American Zoetrope just after high school where he produced his first film, Arthur. He was mentored by Francis Coppola and became good friends.

Moving to Hollywood, Steve met Joe Blasco where he apprenticed for a short while before becoming friends with Rick Baker who gave him his start in Hollywood. Later he met Bob Schieffer who was head of Disney make-up and then became friends with Fred B. Phillips as a result of being friends with Bob Schieffer.

Steve Neill first worked for Fred B. Phillips on Star Trek: The Motion Picture. His first assignment was to make Spock's ears. Additionally he designed and made the appliances of the dome headed alien on the bridge that was applied by Ve Neill.

After working on Star Trek Steve went to work for John Chambers making prosthetics and puppet heads for National Lampoon’s Class Reunion.

Steve Neill has also worked on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country for Richard Snell as a sculptor and prosthetic maker of numerous Klingon forehead pieces. Additionally he worked on the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode, "Encounter at Farpoint".

Steve Neill was also one of the Famous Hollywood Gorilla Men. Over the course of many years he made three gorilla suits and performed in many commercials, tv shows and movies. Additionally he created the McDonald’s “Mac Tonight” moon character puppeteering it for many years. The head was worn by Doug Jones and puppeteered by Steve Neill, Gillian Neill and Bob Burns.

He worked on Crater Lake Monster (1977) and Laser Blast (1978). Steve created, wrote and produced The Day Time Ended (1978). He worked on Ghost Busters (1984), Fright Night (1985), and many other sci-fi and horror films.

Steve Neill is the author of “But Something is there” and is currently in production at SNG Studio for “But Something is There” produced by Steve Neill, Paul Gentry, Whitley Strieber and Mary Cacciapaglia.

IT HAS been said that once we know that we are not alone, the greatest revolution in human culture will occur.

My personal meetings with the visitors showed me that this experience was completely different from the reality we know.

This was an encounter with the complete unknown, and during this visit, I feared for my sanity. In those moments I was not able to understand the experience rationally. Trying to fully understand what transpired has become the project of my life.

Communicating with the visitors at that meeting was not like the familiar communications that we normally have, they did not speak to me in words or any language, they shared with me their consciousness. They allowed me to experience their thoughts, their feelings Their existence, and their perception of reality.

During the time of our shared consciousness, I could see who we truly are - from their perspective, which is so vastly different than our own.

At the beginning of the encounter, I experienced terrible fear, as I overcame it, I experienced the most profound and meaningful content of my life. Content that led to the writing of this book.

In the first part of the book, I am sharing the experience of the encounter itself, exactly as it happened, and then the physical, psychological, and mental impact that followed. The second part of the book is written after a gradual journey of understanding the experience and the meaning of the communication in depth, a journey that lasts about 30 years, and still, today continues. Years in which the experience of their abstracted consciousness became clear, and the different parts of it merged into one complete picture.

Throughout this time, the visitors support and continue to help me, in their unique way, of understanding what they are, how their vast consciousness sees reality, the special connection between their consciousness and that of us, and most importantly, who we are, and our evolutionary process of consciousness.

I hope that sharing my experiences will help in our shared journey into the new spaces we are going to, one where we realize that we are not alone.

I'm not saying I have all the answers, but I'm sure trying to understand.

You might expect to learn of my advanced degrees in agronomic engineering, or how I’m an expert in photosynthetic optimization and soil microbiomes. I could present my honorary tenure with the International Society of Crop Science (ISCS). As long as I delivered all of that with a playful smirk, you’d quickly realize I was fertilizing those accolades for my seeds of whimsy. You see, I’m a novelist. Rather than having an academic history in the Sciences, I started with a graphic design degree. Yeah. That was me doodling up the cover and several illustrations within.

I parlayed that into a television production career. Over the course of the last twenty years, I advanced into animation, scripting, and then as a Producer/Director way out in the middle of the Pacific. The Sciences have held a fascination for me. During college, I had enjoyed several “topics in physics” elective classes. They didn’t relate to my degree in the least, but engaged a distinctive side of the brain all the same. I felt that intellectual draw could bridge a divide between their cerebral academic world and the one we everyday folk sip Star bucks in. Not to mention, if Neil deGrasse Tyson isn’t inclined to step up, then I’m happy fill that vacuum. We are laypeople.

And if I can unravel these heady concepts into the realm of what’s possible, then that has value for all of us. Does that make me a UFOlogist? Yes, and no. A UFOlogist is pretty much anyone who studies the topic and shares their research. Just like journalists, there isn’t a UFOlogy certification. On top of that, those that seek to foster the stigma are more than pleased to slather pseudoscience over the term. In that respect, I’d not consider myself any sort of ‘ologist, more of a layperson translator. I’m seeking to advance understanding. At the same time I’d like to push back against the disinformation that over whelms the topic. And, man! This topic is full of that. As a now two-time non-fiction author, I’m curious to see if this guidebook will spark something. Should it catch fire, I have plenty more in mind to continue this shared exploration. The Farsight Institute is a nonprofit research and educational organization that is dedicated to understanding the remote-viewing phenomenon through the process of scientific experimentation. Remote viewing is a controlled and trainable mental process involving psi (or psychic ability). It is used to transfer perceptual information across time and space. Remote-viewing procedures were originally developed in laboratories funded by the United States military and intelligence services and used for espionage purposes.

Bio

Courtney Brown is a mathematician and social scientist who teaches in the Department of Political Science at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his Ph.D. degree from Washington University (St. Louis) in 1982 in political science with an emphasis on mathematical modeling. He began his teaching career as a college calculus instructor in Africa before moving on to teach nonlinear differential and difference equation modeling in the social sciences at the University of California at Los Angeles, Emory University, and the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research Summer Program at the University of Michigan.

He has published numerous books on applied nonlinear mathematical modeling in the social sciences, including two new volumes, one on applied differential equation systems (2007) and another on graph algebra (2008), a new graphical language used for modeling systems. He also has an interest in political music, and has recently published a book on the subject.

Independent of his work as a college professor, he is the Director and founder of The Farsight Institute a nonprofit research and educational organization dedicated to the study of a phenomenon of nonlocal consciousness known as "remote viewing." He published a book titled "Remote Viewing: The Science and Theory of Nonphysical Perception." In this book he analyzes data and develops a new theory that explains the remote-viewing phenomenon as a consequence of superposition formation on the quantum level.
