This long-forgotten story was collected by Joseph Jacobs within his Celtic Fairy Tales published in Scottland 1892.

Reminiscent of the classic and familiar Grimm tale of Snow White, this story is a refreshed telling of a legendary yet cautionary tale that was told throughout centuries in olden Celtic tradition.

Immersing you into a beautiful tragedy by English poet Alfred Noyes originally published in 1906. Familiar quality ASMR sounds interwoven throughout, specifically intended to bring they story to life as you drift to sleep. Spoils Of The Dead published 1915 in "A Boy's Will"

Following the death of his father, Robert Frost and his family moved in with his grandfather in Lawrence Massachusetts. Eleven-year-old California boy, grew to become New England's most famous poet. Frost was no stranger to death and seemed to truly accept it as a part of the cycle in his poetry. Yet the use of dark fantasy inspired details usher the listener to the main theme; Expressing that death itself may seem calming and comforting at first. But continues to denote the reality that eventually death causes sorrow. Displaying plainly, when one dies they lose everything they may have once had in this life.

Along with many other accomplishments he went on to join The Folklore Society in England and became an editor of the society journal Folklore. One can also find a somewhat revised retelling in Naomi Baltuck's book "Apples from Heaven: Multicultural Folk Tales about Stories and Storytellers"

A Late Walk was published in 1915, one of Robert Frost’s first successful poetry collections, A Boy’s Will. During this time, Frost had moved back to America from England, away from his family because of the First World War. The sense of sadness that fills each line of this work could be an allusion to Frost’s own sadness — for he suffered both from and by depression for much of his life — and it could also stem from his sudden isolation in an unfamiliar place. If winter happened to be falling at the same time, the poem may as well have written itself. Many of the poems in A Boy’s Life were considered by Frost to be autobiographical in nature as well first successful poetry collections, A Boy’s Will.

This clever little piece of poetry dates back to a 1830's Irishman by the name of Robert Dwyer Joyce. He produced many poems, ballads, romances and songs that grew more popular in the United States after moving to Boston from his Irish homeland in the 1870's.

To this day folklore containing leprechauns is scattered all throughout Welsh, Scottish and Irish traditions.
