  • How To Unleash The Story of Greatness That Lives Within YOU
    Mar 15 2025
What if the only thing standing between you and greatness was the story you’ve been telling yourself? In this electrifying mashup, I’m bringing together some of the most inspiring voices on the planet to help you rewrite the narrative of your life and unlock the greatness that already exists within you. You’ll hear life-changing insights from Les Brown, Jay "Jeezy" Jenkins, Dean Graziosi, Heidi Powell, Trent Shelton, Chris Powell, and Damon West—each of them sharing hard-earned wisdom that can transform your mindset, your habits, and your future. Les Brown reminds us that “when you have a big dream, it will introduce you to a part of yourself that you don’t know yet.” If you’ve ever doubted your ability to rise above your circumstances, his words will light a fire in you. Dean Graziosi pulls back the curtain on how facing the storm in your life—whether it's relationships, business, or self-doubt—is the only way to reach the next level. And Heidi and Chris Powell break down the power of keeping promises to yourself, because every transformation starts with the smallest commitments. Trent Shelton takes us through the emotional rollercoaster of going from an NFL hopeful to finding a bigger purpose beyond the game. "Something bigger than you will keep you from quitting," he says. And Damon West, a man who went from a life sentence in prison to becoming one of the most impactful motivational speakers, proves that no matter how dark your past, you can rewrite your future. His story will shake you to your core. This episode is a wake-up call. The only limits in your life are the ones you accept. You are not defined by your past. You are not disqualified by your failures. The pen is in your hands, and it’s time to start writing a new chapter. Key Takeaways: - How to turn your biggest failures into your greatest strengths - Why facing the storm is the only way to reach the next level - The secret to lasting transformation—integrity momentum - Why your confidence isn’t lost, it’s just buried under broken promises - How to use adversity as fuel instead of letting it break you - The mindset shift that will separate you from the pack Your story isn’t over—it’s just getting started. • Why Emotional Energy is the New Currency of Leadership
    Mar 13 2025
The Future of Leadership: Are You Ready for What’s Coming? Most people think leadership is about telling others what to do—but what if that’s completely wrong? In this episode, I sit down with my great friend Brendon Burchard to challenge everything you thought you knew about leadership. The world is changing faster than ever, and the old way of leading just won’t cut it anymore. If you’re still leading the way you did five years ago, you’re already falling behind. Brendon and I break down what it really takes to lead in today’s world, from how to get people to buy into your vision to why energy is your most valuable leadership asset. We’re talking about what separates great leaders from those who struggle to keep their teams engaged—and trust me, it’s not what you think. Brendon shares his game-changing insight: “People support what they create.” If your people don’t feel like they have a stake in the vision, they’ll never be all in. We also get into the biggest leadership mistake holding most people back—clinging to old ideas instead of adapting. Even legendary leadership expert John Maxwell told me that he used to believe consistency was the key… until he realized that in today’s world, great leaders must be willing to change their minds when new information comes in. The companies and leaders who refuse to evolve? They won’t survive the next five years. This conversation is packed with real, actionable leadership strategies you can start using today—whether you’re leading a team of two or two thousand. And if you’re not thinking about energy, emotional connection, and adaptability as core leadership skills, this episode will shift your mindset forever. What You’ll Learn in This Episode: ✅ The #1 mistake leaders make that kills engagement ✅ How to create buy-in so your team is all in on the vision ✅ Why AI is forcing leaders to change how they lead—NOW ✅ The real reason people quit (it’s not what you think!) ✅ How energy and emotional connection separate great leaders from average ones This is the leadership conversation you didn’t know you needed to hear. • From Life Sentence to Life’s Purpose with Damon West
    Mar 11 2025
Are You Living in a Prison Without Bars? Some of the most locked-up people aren’t behind steel bars—they’re trapped in their own minds. My guest today, my friend Damon West, knows this better than anyone. Once a promising college quarterback, he spiraled into addiction and crime, ultimately sentenced to life in prison. But Damon didn't just survive—he transformed. He found a way to change his environment from the inside out, becoming what he calls a "coffee bean"—a force for change rather than a victim of his surroundings. Damon’s story is unreal. He was sentenced to life but earned his way out by changing himself first. Today, he’s one of the most sought-after speakers in the world, sharing the same message that saved him. He went from practicing speeches in his parents’ spare bedroom to standing in front of NFL teams, Fortune 500 companies, and thousands of students. He’s proof that no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can rewrite your story. This conversation is filled with raw truth and real strategies. We break down what it takes to overcome mental prisons, fear, and limiting beliefs. Damon shares how he got his first big break by refusing to take “no” for an answer and the lessons he’s learned from some of the world’s greatest leaders. And in a moment that will stay with you, he reveals a forgiveness letter from one of his victims—proof that redemption is possible. This episode is about hope. It’s about getting back up when life knocks you down. And it’s about understanding that your past doesn’t define you—your decisions do. Key Takeaways ✅ The coffee bean mindset—how to change your environment instead of letting it change you ✅ How Damon went from seven years in maximum security to becoming a top speaker ✅ Why you must ask the question—and how one bold move got him in front of Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney ✅ The power of gratitude and giving—how a simple keychain changed his entire life ✅ The life-changing impact of forgiveness—including the letter that changed everything If Damon West can rebuild his life from a prison cell to flying private, what’s stopping you from making a change today? This is your wake-up call. Let’s go! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Hits just keep on coming!

Ed never fails to get interesting guests on his show. I'll think to myself "hmm, never heard of this person," then I'll listen and it will be great. example. I'm not a fan of football, but listened to the Stephen A. Smith episode and it was great!

excellent episode!

I hope you, Ed Mylett, got as much going I did out of this episode 2 1/2 years later, as the economy is circling the drain with a socialist president asleep at the wheel.

God bless all conservatives!

Introspection and creation

Ed has the incredible ability to cause introspection within the listener, to dig deep with what they know true in their heart and figure out what action they can do the create the life they were born to create.
It’s awesome to have access to some of the most influential and powerful leaders in a wide array of fields.
So powerful, if you let it!
Thank you Ed!

wow! just wow!

Tim Tebow's interview literally saved my sanity. Saying I am grateful to have heard this interview in under-stating how I feel. Also this is one interview where Ed let the guest lead us with his words, wisdom and encouragement. Thank you Ed for this program. You are saving lives.

Ed is my inspiration to Max Out my life!

Ed Mylett has developed into the type of leader, mentor and Christian that I would confidently walk into a fire with trusting his heart to lead me to safety. I too am a sinner saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, who is looking to serve more people for the greater good. Thank You Brother for lighting the way for those of us still walking through the darkness!
