  • Trump’s Legal Team is a Hot Mess November 23, 2020
    Jun 16 2025
This week on Mea Culpa, Michael finds himself at peak frustration as the Trump Train barrels this country towards oblivion. How can a nation that is built upon reason find itself in such an unreasonable position, where a two-bit, wannabe despot can work the corners of our legal system to halt the entire transition of power? With the country exhausted from the trauma of this never ending election and the looming specter of death from COVID, we all are stuck in a terrible limbo. Searching for answers and rational thought, Michael speaks with Harvard University Professor of Constitutional Law, Laurence Tribe. One of the main architects of Al Gore's recount fight from the 2000 election, Tribe has argued 35 cases in front of the Supreme Court and finds himself mired in the current mess; advising the Biden team from afar as one frivolous lawsuit after another is filed. His words provide a balm for the ever present irritation of Trump and his team of legal crows. Also, make sure to check o...

  • Week In Review: Trump’s Creepy Errand Boys November 19, 2020
    Jun 13 2025
On this episode of the Mea Culpa Week in Review, we examine the last 72 hours in the mind of Donald J. Trump as he attempts to overturn the election with his bogus fraud claims. In addition, we look at two of his most creepy errand boys, Lindsay Graham and Rudy Giuliani and wonder what sort of kompromat Trump possesses that they could stomach their roles in his defense. Rudy has gone even more batshit insane and was put in charge of Trump's entire legal strategy while Lindsay Graham is driving around Washington in his windowless van looking to lure people in with promises of candy if they only throw out those legal ballots. Finally, we talk to national security expert John Cipher who for 28 years served in the CIA's clandestine service ultimately as the European Chief of Station. He talks with Michael about the role disinformation plays in President Trump's overall strategy to undermine the election and how his goal of sewing chaos hues closely to that of Vladimir Putin. Really appreciate the 2 of you and your wealth of knowledge and expertise. I'm an avid listener and these podcasts have helped me become more informed. It also makes me laugh which is a nice plus in the midst of the seriousness of the topics. Thank you!

Biden Brawls with GOP

First I’d like to say I admire you for what you’re doing. You were railroaded. You took ownership for your misdeeds which is admirable. However my suggestion is not to turn every episode back to you and your grievances on how you personally were done dirty. We get it. You were. But keep the focus on how WE collectively can stop it. Because right now it seems like we all are in an abusive relationship with no escape.

Thank you but..

My mother called me when the media was talking about the possibility that Obama wasn’t born in the US. She was a solid red Republican and believed that what they said was true. But when there wasn’t any evidence, she began to really listen to what was said and how Trump acted.

By Election Day, she held her nose and voted for Hillary. Mom was one of those who hoped that Trump would grow into the position. By the time she passed in mid-2018, she had resigned from the county Republican Central Committee because the chairperson said that if you’re a Repub, you are expected to support the President and all Repub candidates. She couldn’t understand why friends she respected were proud supporters of an amoral man.

I am so glad that Mom passed when she did. She would have been scared and livid at what is happening. She would tell everyone that it’s not Trump’s fault, but that each person who chose to not listen to what Trump said is at fault. Every person who chose to not care about making informed decisions is at fault.

This is our mess to clean up. Let’s get to it.

Don’t be neutral

I listen religiously because this man knows the real truth about TFG . Michael has chose truth and his family over TFG and evil. He is fighting for our democracy. And this podcast is highly highly interesting to boot! His guests are premium intelligent people that don't LIE! Thank you Mr Cohen

I like Mike. I started listening to him on Ari Melber then moved on to Disloyal. I scour all of my podcast services for his weekly episodes. The interviews are intelligent and genuine. The questions are thought-provoking for the guest and the listener. My only complaint is the yelling at the beginning and the end. His chosen vocal delivery for bumper segments is difficult to understand. In mho, this podcast is worth the small effort.
