  • Fusion Centers: How Government Surveillance Targets American Citizens
    Jun 15 2025

What happens when government surveillance targets ordinary Americans? The shadowy world of fusion centers represents one of the most concerning yet least understood aspects of our national security apparatus.

Built in the aftermath of 9/11 to improve intelligence sharing between agencies, these data hubs have morphed into something far more sinister. With minimal oversight and alarming financial incentives, fusion centers now collect vast amounts of information on millions of Americans – many with no connection to terrorism or criminal activity.

My own experience with fusion center targeting began after I declined a White House invitation and made political decisions that apparently landed me on their radar. What followed was textbook psychological warfare: subtle technology interference escalated to home break-ins where nothing was stolen but personal items were disturbed. Police surveillance became constant. Most devastatingly, people I trusted – even family members – were apparently recruited and compensated to participate in my monitoring and harassment.

This isn't conspiracy theory – it's documented reality. Government reports, lawsuits, and whistleblower testimony confirm that fusion centers have systematically expanded beyond their original mission. They've monitored environmental activists, journalists, and those who simply express dissenting political views. Their tactics, sometimes called "gang stalking," employ sophisticated psychological pressure designed to isolate, discredit, and destabilize targets.

The implications for democracy are profound. When government agencies can secretly target citizens without accountability, the impact extends beyond individual victims to threaten our collective freedom. Join me as we expose this hidden system and demand the transparency that true national security requires. • My Brother's Coked-Up Friend Accidentally Changed My Life
    Jun 12 2025

Have you ever realized your harshest critic is staring back at you in the mirror? This raw, unfiltered episode explores my unexpected journey to self-love after facing betrayal, false accusations, and twelve years of wandering the world with nothing but a backpack and faith.

The turning point came from the most unlikely source - the very person trying to destroy me. While working on Roster Runner, a project I poured myself into, I apologized profusely to Chris (my brother's friend who later filed false charges against me) for not accomplishing enough. His response changed everything: "Don't worry, no one can beat you up more than you beat yourself." This brutal truth forced me to confront my self-destructive patterns. Why was I continuing to harm myself when others had already caused enough damage?

My transformation didn't come from expensive skincare or filters (though my iPhone settings help!). The real change happened during eighteen months away from social media, dedicated entirely to healing. Now when people comment that I look better than I did twelve years ago despite everything I've endured, I know it's because I've broken the cycle of self-criticism. I wake up loving myself each morning, acknowledging my journey, and refusing to be my own enemy anymore. I recognize past mistakes but focus on fixing what I can in the present.

If you take one thing from this episode, let it be this: love yourself today and every day. You've been with yourself through everything - you deserve your own kindness more than anyone else's. What might change if you decided to become your own strongest ally instead of your worst critic?

PS this was actually a TikTok post that I thought fit here too.

  • Secret Cameras, Fake Islands, and Fentanyl: The China Problem
    May 17 2025

My journey from the United States to Australia in 2013 unexpectedly revealed a disturbing global pattern—China's methodical influence extending far beyond what most people realize. Standing beneath unfamiliar southern hemisphere stars, I began noticing concerning signs that have only grown more relevant in today's geopolitical landscape.

During my time in Perth, I witnessed firsthand how China had strategically positioned itself within Australian society. From the government-controlled media landscape to the normalized surveillance in homes that nobody questioned, I observed a population unaware of their gradually eroding sovereignty. China's systematic purchase of Australian resources through million-dollar citizenship programs created dependencies so severe that when COVID disrupted supply chains, Australians couldn't even access basic necessities without Chinese imports.

The most alarming aspects of China's global strategy became evident when I observed their actions in the South China Sea—constructing artificial islands to expand territorial claims, then simply laughing off international court rulings against them. This blatant disregard for global norms continues today, alongside other concerning activities: purchasing farmland near US military installations, flooding countries with fentanyl, and developing surveillance technologies that extend their reach worldwide. These aren't random events but calculated moves in a long-term strategy that doesn't require traditional warfare to achieve dominance.

As we navigate increasingly complex global tensions, understanding China's playbook becomes essential. Their alternative approach to global influence—buying rather than invading, monitoring rather than confronting—creates vulnerabilities that most citizens never see until it's too late. • From Mexico to Puerto Rico: Coming Home
    May 7 2025

A pivotal moment has arrived for the Surviving Changes podcast as we transition into a new chapter. After circling the globe with faith as my compass, I've finally landed in Puerto Rico – but not without one last thrilling escape from Mexico that involved an epic cross-country Uber ride and some dangerously close encounters with cartel leadership.

Upon touchdown in San Juan, reality hit hard when my expired passport triggered alerts about outstanding warrants. Picture this: surrounded by customs officials, a service dog at my side, and my heart pounding as I contemplated whether I'd be detained or released. The strategic conversation that followed – gently reminding officials they might not want to get entangled in an upcoming RICO lawsuit – proved crucial to my freedom. Sometimes knowing when to stand your ground makes all the difference between captivity and liberty.

The emotional weight of Puerto Rico has been both healing and haunting. The beaches where friends lost their lives during hurricanes serve as constant reminders of nature's power. Finding the perfect home – close enough to enjoy the sunset views but safely elevated from tsunami threats – marks another milestone in this journey of survival and resilience. Meanwhile, legal battles have been fought and won from afar, demonstrating that sometimes the art of war means choosing your battlefield carefully rather than charging headlong into every fight.

As the podcast evolves, you'll find more structured content across platforms like Rumble, YouTube and TikTok under "I am Heidi Hunt." While some journey-related episodes will require a modest subscription (half the price of a coffee!), my commitment to sharing these stories remains unwavering. Join me as we transform these global adventures into meaningful conversations about survival, faith, and the courage to embrace change when everything around you demands it.

  • How to Outwit a Cult of Mason Grifters? Stick around...
    Apr 1 2025

The line between safety and danger can dissolve in an instant. What began as a flourishing tour boat business in beautiful Cabo San Lucas rapidly descended into a desperate fight for survival against a network of Mason-affiliated grifters with dangerous cartel connections.

When a seemingly friendly couple wearing Zag shirts appeared in my life, I immediately recognized the setup. These weren't random expatriates looking for friendship – they were scouts for a sophisticated operation that targeted tourists and long-term visitors. Their system was brilliant in its simplicity: rent properties equipped with hidden cameras, capture compromising behavior, then blackmail or rob their victims before forcing them out.

Playing along while secretly gathering evidence became my daily reality. While Stan, a 33rd-degree Mason, regularly invaded my apartment stealing alcohol and manipulating my food, he had no idea my old phones were recording his every move. When Jill and Brian offered me "security cameras" connected to their account, they never suspected I had installed my own independent system.

The dangerous game escalated when I confronted Stan with video evidence. Rather than backing down, the group enlisted my trusted business associate Nacho – a man I'd helped for years. His offer to connect me with cartel contacts at the police station seemed like salvation until he mysteriously "lost" the critical evidence after filing reports. The betrayal became undeniable when he arrived at my door with unseen accomplices waiting in the parking lot.

My escape required abandoning nearly everything, paying $6,000 for an Uber to take my dog and me across Mexico, from Cabo to La Paz, by ferry to Mazatlan, and eventually to Cancun where we caught a flight to Puerto Rico. Those days of silent travel, unable to communicate with my driver due to language barriers, represented the thin line between freedom and becoming another disappeared expatriate.

  • Passport Problems and IRS Lies: My $12 Podcast Changed Everything
    Apr 1 2025

Have you ever felt watched, targeted, or silenced by forces more powerful than yourself? This raw, unfiltered account reveals how I turned the tables on what I call the "Deep State" using nothing but strategic thinking, careful planning, and $12 a month.

From a thriving tour business in Cabo bringing in $10,000-$12,000 weekly to discovering mysterious tax liens following me across continents, my journey exposes the lengths to which coordinated groups will go to silence those who challenge them. When I discovered hearings about my finances were being scheduled without my knowledge and documentation conveniently arriving only after these hearings concluded, I knew I needed an unconventional approach to regain control.

My solution? Creating dozens of what I call "ghetto dead man switches" – evidence buried in various locations as insurance against those who might wish to silence me. This evidence included what I refer to as the "naughty police officer database" and documentation of other incidents that proved powerful enough to make shadowy forces reconsider their approach. The turning point came when I launched this very podcast, triggering an immediate IRS audit claiming I owed $360,000, which ultimately gave me the opportunity to confront those I believe were orchestrating my troubles.

The strategic confrontation worked. By making it clear I had evidence that could implicate many people and threatening a RICO lawsuit that would draw unwanted attention, I managed to get the fabricated liens removed and my passport issues resolved. While I believe I remain on watchlists, the harassment has drastically reduced – no more break-ins, no direct intimidation, just distant observation. My experience offers valuable lessons for anyone facing seemingly insurmountable opposition: sometimes creating multiple failsafes and strategically revealing information is more effective than direct confrontation. • Poker Strategy for the win!
    Apr 1 2025

The tables are turning on powerful institutions that have kept me silent for over six years. Drawing inspiration from a poker player who taught me the value of patience and perseverance, I've been carefully biding my time against what some might call the "Deep State" and Masonic organizations.

Throughout this episode, I reveal the surprising connections between Masonic symbols and law enforcement agencies, particularly sheriff's departments. Visit any bar in Cabo where officers leave their patches, and you'll notice a pattern hiding in plain sight. This recognition helped me understand why I became a target years ago, leading to my current situation - essentially serving a 10-year sentence of silence due to NDAs and potential legal threats.

My 50th birthday in May 2020 marked a particularly difficult moment. I had foolishly hoped that someone from my past might show basic human decency and reach out. Instead, the world erupted with COVID lockdowns and George Floyd protests while I remained isolated. Despite these challenges, I established Bascabo Tours LLC with my partner Mark, strategically structuring the business to provide some protection. During my time in Cabo, I helped numerous street vendors establish legitimate businesses online, building goodwill throughout the community.

Looking ahead, I'm preparing to file a lawsuit that will expose many of these experiences in detail. Future episodes of Surviving Changes will walk you through this legal process and explore the emotional and practical strategies I've developed to survive major life transitions. From living in a van to navigating complex psychological challenges, this podcast will serve as both documentation of my journey and a resource for anyone confronting powerful systems. • The Crash That Wasn't an Accident
    Mar 26 2025

We've all been deceived by people we trusted, but few have experienced it with potentially life-threatening consequences. This episode peels back the layers of seemingly innocent relationships to reveal a disturbing pattern of calculated manipulation and possible conspiracy.

After losing everything back home, I found myself in Cabo San Lucas, vulnerable and rebuilding from scratch. When an older American couple, Larry and Anita, appeared offering friendship and support, they seemed like guardian angels sent at exactly the right moment. Their generosity—opening their home, helping me find housing, introducing me to local connections—painted a picture of compassionate expats helping a fellow American through tough times.

The Fourth of July celebration started innocently enough. Drinks at local bars with plans to watch fireworks from Larry and Anita's condo overlooking the Arch. But strange decisions began accumulating: their unusual insistence I shouldn't drive despite similar previous situations, Larry providing Xanax despite knowing it causes blackouts with alcohol, and most tellingly, their failure to make even a single call when we never arrived at their home after supposedly following them there.

Waking up in a Mexican hospital with facial stitches and no memory of how I got there was terrifying enough. But the realization that followed was worse—people I thought were friends had likely orchestrated the entire "accident." As a former attorney who had made powerful enemies, I recognized the pattern too late. The truth becomes clear when you ask what genuine friends would do if you mysteriously disappeared on your way to their home. They would call. They would worry. They would create exactly the digital trail of concern that Larry and Anita carefully avoided.

Have you ever realized someone in your life wasn't who they claimed to be? How did you recognize the signs? Share your experiences or thoughts about navigating betrayal in the comments or reach out directly through our website.
