Hello and welcome to episode 101 of the Still Spinning Podcast. We kick things off with Dan saying F New York, specifically for the toll costs and taxes and F Chicago Traffic, for obvious reasons if you have been here. He had to take a road trip last week and boy, he had some choice words about these two things. We have talked a lot about AI and how it is taking over the world and last week a story came out about AI trying to “stay alive” in a variety of ways. It has been found to rewrite code, copy itself to external servers and in one instance, blackmail an engineer. It is hard to not feel like we are living in a Sci-Fi movie, but here we are. Also peppered in a virtual job interview that went viral because the person being interviewed did not feel like they looked very good that day so they were using a filter that made them look like breakfast. Oh what a world we are living in.A terrifying story out of O’Hare. A DoorDash driver got lost and ended up on the tarmac and parked next to a plane. So many things to be worried about here, it is hard to know where to start. Although starting with SECURITY would be a great first step. Also who is ordering DoorDash from the airport?!And finally a feel good story about some very smart parrots in Australia who have figured out how to open trash bins to forage for food and now they are using drinking fountains to wash all that food down. Smart birds who are just learning how to live in a modern world. All of this and more on today’s episode! We appreciate you checking us out! You can watch the live taping most Mondays at 7 PM on Facebook, YouTube or Instagram OR wait until the official podcast release on Wednesday morning. Buckle up, listeners, because The Still Spinning Podcast with Dan and Nicole has hit the big 1-0-0! In this landmark Episode 100, our hosts are positively buzzing with excitement, popping corks and sipping drinks to celebrate this epic milestone. Recorded with glasses raised and spirits high, Dan and Nicole bring their signature wit and charm to a whirlwind of quirky, thought-provoking topics that’ll have you laughing and pondering in equal measure.First up, the duo dives into a hilariously unexpected debate: Is the Irish sewage system ready for Taco Bell? Spoiler alert—many in Ireland are skeptical, and Dan and Nicole have a blast unpacking whether the Emerald Isle’s pipes can handle the fast-food chain’s notorious impact. From plumbing woes to cultural clashes, this segment is a spicy mix of humor and speculation.Next, they hit the snooze button—literally—on a discussion about morning routines. Do you use the snooze button? And more importantly, what’s the etiquette when your partner, roommate, or dog is affected by your 5-minute nap cycles? Dan and Nicole trade stories, tips, and a few playful jabs about the art of hitting snooze without starting a household riot. Finally, things get a little… toetally wild. Is there such a thing as showing too much feet at the office? From open-toe sandals to full-on barefoot vibes, the hosts explore workplace foot etiquette with their trademark banter, debating where to draw the line (or the sock) in professional settings. With drinks flowing and the energy electric, Episode 100 is a testament to Dan and Nicole’s unstoppable chemistry and their knack for turning random topics into pure podcast gold. Here’s to 100 more episodes of Still Spinning! Tune in, pour yourself a drink, and join the celebration.

Both Dan and Nicole share some personal stories about their tech and how it impacts them and of course there is always something in the news that speaks to how oversaturated with tech we all are.Dan hates snakes!
