Following his career, he saw great success as a hitting coach in various organizations like the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays, coaching players like Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig, Jose Bautista, Josh Donaldson, Troy Tulowitzki, the list goes on and on and on.
