  • Season 4, Episode 100: Interview with Alexandra Lucchesi (Marie) from movie Scott B. Hansen’s “Devour” (2025)
    Mar 14 2025

What an amazing way to end the season!

Alexandra is such a cool person! We spoke about her character “Marie’ and how she is a crossover from the “Bad Candy” Universe and both movies happen to be Halloween themed which makes everything perfect.

Essentially, Marie is a part of a vampire heavy metal band battling a warlock that is hellbent on world domination/destruction, I guess. That’s what I am gathering from the trailer anyway – I could be 100% incorrect with that theory and being mislead by the Scott Hansen’s ideas.

She is also in the process of writing her own movie which is called “A Deadly Path” and it’s a post-apocalyptic movie and I am already intrigued by the concept. For some reason, I have been watching a lot of post-apocalyptic movies lately, especially post-apocalyptic zombie movies.

Crank up the volume, raise your horns in the air, and check out the movie when it’s released in October this year.

  • Season 4, Episode 99: Interview with Elena Juliano (Olivia) from “Popeye the Slayer Man” (2025)
    Mar 11 2025

Synopsis: A curious group of friends sneak into an abandoned spinach canning factory to investigate the legend of the "Sailor Man," who is said to haunt the factory and local docks.

After watching the trailer, I can honestly say that Popeye looks appropriately terrifying! His sailor's uniform is blood-spattered as he smokes his pipe, and he looks equally frightening from a distance as he watches one of the friends who are in the factory.

It was great sitting down with Elena and getting the inside scoop about this movie! And if you’re like me who grew up watching the Popeye cartoons, you should be fascinated, too. Elena gave some great insight about the film in regard to the location, the use of practical special effects and make-up, and the dynamic of the actors on set. I for one, am looking forward to seeing this movie.

Grab a can of spinach, because it’s sailing into theaters and will be available for streaming March 21st.

  • Season 4, Episode 98: Interview with Andrew Bailes (Tanner Behlman) from “Black Mold” (2023) - There’s Something in the Air!
    Mar 9 2025

Movie Synopsis: While exploring a decrepit and abandoned facility, an auspicious photographer faces off against her traumatic past.

Andrew, Andrew! Such a great and funny guest! I absolutely enjoyed this interview with Andrew and gaining his insight regarding his character and the concept behind the movie.

What have we learned? That the movie was actually filmed in abandoned buildings at decommissioned Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois. Talk about the director using resources! We also learned that the best method for acting is to jump straight into your role without hesitating and overthinking. Andrew was successful at it and so could all of the aspiring actors out there.

Overall, the movie is a great psychological mind-spank. Andrew brought up a great point, if there should be a sequel, the audience should know how the black mold works when messing with the mind… And Andrew and Brooke defeat it!

  • Season 4, Episode 97: Interview with Kimberly Jindra (Coven Woman) from "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" (2014)
    Mar 7 2025

Movie Synopsis: When a young man becomes the target of a malevolent entity, he must uncover its true intentions before it takes complete control of him.

Let’s dive into the paranormal realm for a few minutes! I had the honor and pleasure of speaking to one of the most talented women in horror. Kimberly Jindra who portrays the scary coven woman in this movie delivered her part! Without a doubt, she is exceptional and talented.

You can also catch her in the movies “Insidious” (2010) , “Devil” (2010), and “Insidious: Chapter 2” (2013).

I love the fact that she went into great detail regarding her role and what it was like on set. And, she had a fun time, too! That tells me that she really enjoys her work, and I hope that I get to see her in another horror movie soon.

  • Season 4, Episode 96: Interview with Carl Toop (Alien Warrior) from James Cameron’s “Aliens” (1986)
    Mar 2 2025

First of all, I would like to say that I absolutely love the Alien franchise! The franchise in which we know started in 1979 and it’s still going strong in the movie industry, the horror community, and in the convention circuit. Who would have thought that a low budget Science Fiction movie would make such a huge difference and impact?

I am honored to have had the opportunity to speak to Carl Toop, the iconic Xenomorph in “Aliens” (1986). He has to be one of the most generous actors I know. We spoke about his role as the Alien Warrior and what it was like to wear the costume, filming on the set, and to work with such a wonderful cast.

He also went into very descriptive detail about the iconic scene with Carrie Henn – the flooded sub-basement scene at Hadley’s Hope.

So what is Carl up to now? He’s a Chef in France! Who would have guessed? However, he remains true and loyal to his fans by attending conventions around the world and in the United States. This actor is a true legend!

If you have the chance to check out the special edition of “Aliens” (1986), please do! The DVD shows deleted scenes from the original cut. And, make sure that you celebrate “National Alien Day” on April 26th and show your support to the awesome franchise, directors, and actors.

  • Season 4, Episode 95: Interview with Charlotte Creaghan (Aurora) in “A Violent Nature” (2024) – Yoga Kills!
    Feb 28 2025

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 7 (Final Segment)

As a quick reminder, this is what the movie is about: When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 70-year-old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it.

Sitting down and hearing Charlotte’s perspective about the memorable kill in this movie was very exciting. I mean, I had to pose the question why her character was killed. Was she doing the downward dog incorrectly? Was the yoga mat too cheap for Johnny’s approval? Or was she in Johnny’s spot? There are many questions regarding her death…

And there are many fan theories as to why Johnny was killing them all. Seriously, just kill the one person who stole the locket. The moral of the story is, don’t take what’s not yours. Or we can go with Charlotte’s theory: Don’t mess with Mother Nature.

  • Season 4, Episode 94: Interview with Maisie Merlock (Young Brooke) from John Pata’s “Black Mold” (2023)
    Feb 26 2025

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 6

For those who have not seen or heard about this movie, here’s what it’s about: While exploring a decrepit and abandoned facility, an auspicious photographer faces off against her traumatic past.

I sat down with a young and talented actress to gain insight about this movie and her role. I can honestly say that the movie is very intense due to the psychological approach and how it deeply probes the mind of the female lead. However, with Maisie portraying the younger version of Brooke, her performance was extraordinary.

I definitely recommend this movie if you are looking for something exciting and mind-bending to watch.

You can also catch Maisie acting as ‘Ginny’ in the comedy horror, “Departing Seniors” which I also recommend watching.

  • Season 4, Episode 93: Interview with Legendary Actress Catherine Mary Stewart (Maggie Gordan) from “The Last Starfighter” (1984)
    Feb 21 2025

One of the best birthday presents I could ever get!

I am delighted and honored that Catherine took some time to answer my questions so I could share them with you here. It was very cool to find out more about the film The Last Starfighter. I want to take this opportunity to again thank Catherine Mary Stewart for her contributions to '80s pop culture, especially with her roles in that classic film and, even more, for going back to the '80s for a little while with us here as well.

If you have not watched the underrated gem of a movie, rent it now on Amazon Prime and have your children watch it, too. It’s a great movie about bravery and exploration – and there’s a little bit of a love tale, as well.
