  • Gonna need a new name anyway so...
    Feb 24 2024

This week, Thomas makes an announcement about the future of the podcast. Awfully difficult to be the Baptist Presbyterian when you are pretty much all the former and less of the latter. There may be new episodes here and there, there may be an entirely new podcast. For now Thomas is going to focus more on his writing.

Time to discuss Aslan the Lion in the Chronicles of Narnia. What similarities does his story share with the bible, what differences are evident, and once we see both, what should we do with them?

  • Deep breath
    Dec 16 2023

I got a little up in my head over this episode and I pulled it. I got some good feedback though and I realize that this thing is going to remain imperfect no matter how much I grow. Taking a minute to plan and regroup with the hopes of having a much stronger podcast in the coming weeks and new year.

So take this episode with a grain of salt. I really should have dedicated an hour to Matthew 25, maybe I will some day.

    Thanks!

    Thomas

  • The Reading List
    Nov 29 2023

Time to talk about what I am reading which of course leads into some mild conjecture about the intertestamental period and the creation of the Septuagint. Also, go read the Puritans!

  • Content in all things?
    Nov 15 2023

We take a quick look at Philippians 4:11 and the overarching theme of contentment in the epistle. Then I slaughter some concepts from Jeremiah Burroughs.
