Our initial process for leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses is unique to us. Although, now that we are out we are finding out that others have had similar experiences. I hope our story will help someone in their journey. Regardless of your reasons or motivations, the fact is if you are a JW and you leave there are consequences. Having said that, I hope and believe their is a better future ahead for my family and yours.

I walk you through a 24 hour period in my recent life. My wife and I were given free tickets to a charity event. A local business gave us an all expense evening for two! It should have been wonderful, but it wasn't. This is a very emotional recording for me. Join me for an honest recounting of that night....these are the true consequences of having everything you ever lived for as a Jehovah's Witness evaporate. We need to find a purpose, this journey is a long one.

I feel it is crucial for you to understand who we are. By that I mean what kind of people we are. I try hard to explain the type of Jehovah's Witnesses we were. Witnesses come in different shapes and sizes. We were "all in" to an extreme degree. This understanding will help you see why our process of leave the Jehovah's Witness system has been so agonizing for us. Early in our leaving I wish I could have heard the reality of what leaving was like.
