  • In 1979 Rob Gell's “Four Day Forecast” revolutionised the way television weather was presented. For 31 years, he brought authority, information and credibility to TV news - introducing pretty cool things, like satellite image sequences, integrated pressure analyses and pretty much, helped viewers make sense of it all. I caught up with Rob recently - sparking a “university education” styled conversation - endorsing that Rob Gell, truly is, an amazingly informed spokesperson on environmental and media issues. He links strongly with the scientific and conservation communities, giving a convincing and compelling insight into the thinking and philosophies around these intricate issues.
