I just ignored it because I was naive, scared, and did not have the resources to figure it out.” I grew up in a Christian home and became a Christian myself, and I clung to my faith when I embraced my identity. I experienced tremendous support that-unfortunately-many in my LGBTQIA+ community do not experience.
