The new season reveals the true story of Dennis Rader, also known as the BTK Killer, who murdered at least 10 people in Wichita, Kansas between 1974 and 1991. The BTK's notoriety was bolstered by his taunting letters to police and phone calls to the media. Rader's identity was finally revealed in 2005 to the shock of his family, his community, and the world.
