Certainly a more divisive film than the first Avengers, but not without its many merits and continuation of Marvel's hot streak through Phase 2, leading into Phase 3. Did you miss us? After a bit of a summer break, we are back with a brand new episode to celebrate a (belated) 10-year anniversary of Guardians of the Galaxy! Directed by James Gunn, this movie was truly one of the big swings Marvel took that really cemented its dominance in the cinematic landscape at the time by introducing us to heroes that not even comic book fans were very familiar with.

But we all certainly know them now! Certainly like the movie, this is not an episode to miss!

Pretty wild that we've already been at this for one year! We couldn't skip posting today, and are bringing you a discussion on, arguably one of the best MCU films period, Captain America: The Winter Solider. Truly, a level-up for the MCU in terms of tone and genre story-telling that fires on all cylinders and fists pumping.

Certainly, it's one of our favorite MCU films coming into this rewatch, and we hope you join us for this exciting discussion on this fantastic movie!

Hope you're ready for the sequel to end all sequels, truly one of the movies of all time, Thor: The Dark World, with Chris Hemsworth back as the titular Thor as he takes on Malekith the dark elf. Truly an iconic movie within the MCU filmography and Phase 2 overall. Ok, enough sarcasm, but seriously we do think this one is an interesting discussion where we dive into everything Thor 2, good and bad, for a movie that does play some role in the larger MCU.

Happy March! In celebration of Robert Downey Jr.'s recent Oscar win for Oppenheimer (congrats to him!), it seems fitting to discuss his last solo outing as Iron Man in one of the unique entries in the Infinity Saga, Iron Man 3. Definitely a movie we haven't seen or thought about in a long time but certainly a worthy three-quel in Tony Stark's character arc. And yes, of course we discuss THAT major twist.

A super-sized episode to wrap up Phase 1, we finally dive into The Avengers! As the new MCU movie, The Marvels comes out today, we would like to take a look back in this episode and "marvel" at Chris Evans first outing as Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger. Definitely a movie we feel gets better with each viewing and is our last phase 1 movie before the whole team comes together in The Avengers.
