  • The 10 Commandments aren't about God keeping things from us, but God wanting abundant life for us! The first commandment states, "You shall have no other Gods besides me." In this sermon we talk about what it means to have a god. Not only do we want to acknowledge the prohibitive boundary that God sets in each commandment, but also ask what is it inviting us into? In this case, the first commandment is inviting us to follow God above all else.
