I appreciate you telling the story, you did an accurate job in the telling. Your focus on what happened and why was the right focus. Your telling felt objective to me not blaming and emphasizing the positive at the end. The industry has changed and for the better. It was difficult to listen to now 39 years latter, I miss my brother now more than ever. He was gentle, smart, and determined he had a funny side to him. He along with all the A Boat men are missed, they are talked about in shared memories to this day. Their names are on memorials in Anacortes. And alive in a young man’s Facebook page about them. We have a bench near the beach where we played as kids to remember Jeff that is all I have except for the memories. This podcast does a service to remind us of the danger and pull of the sea. I disagree that going to sea then was all about the money it was also about the desire for being the best and living an alive life. Should you do a follow up episode please seek help on the pronunciation of names.

Jeff Martin - my Brother in loving memory
