In honor of May the 4th and the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi (which was the first movie I ever remember seeing in a movie theater when I was just shy of 5 years old), I comment broadly on the Star Wars franchise, share my opinions as to the relative flaws and merits of the sequel versus the prequel trilogies, list my favorite and least favorite Star Wars films from worst to first, consider the Disney Plus series, and look ahead to the future, including my recommendation for what series I think they should develop...
