    Based on Tuesday's VGK oractice, we could see the return of William Karlsson this week. Karlsson has been out for the past twenty games with a lower-body injury. He was on a line with Reilly Smith and Nic Roy in practice and appears to be set for Thursday's home game vs the Bruins. Karlsson also started the season late with the same recurring injury. He has seven goals on the season and could provide a spark. Shea Theodore was also on the ice in a red, non-contact jersey. He was injured in the Four Nations Faceoff and could be returning for the Golden Knights stretch run. We also talk about VGK needing to shoot the puck more and we give our point projections on where we feel VGK needs to finish with 15 games remaining.

    It's becoming more noticeable that VGK missed picking up more depth and a top-line scoring left winger at the deadline. Bruce Cassidy has still been toying with the lineup to try and see who fits in on the top line. Tanner Pearson has been the latest VGK winger to fill in. Perhaps, eventually, VGK will settle and have Ivan Barbeshev on the top line again. At the deadline, Kelly McCrimmon said he believed the Golden Knights needed a winger, but they didn't act to obtain one. We also talk about Ben Hutton and why he hasn't played since November. And, VGK has the ninth easiest schedule remaining, but can they handle four back-to-backs?

    The Golden Knights were able to secure just one point in the two games over the weekend. Albeit, these games were back to back but the Golden Knights left a point on the table at Buffalo Saturday, as Tomas Hertl passed the puck to Jack Eichel on a path to an open net. That would have put the game away in regulation. Instead, VGK lost in a shootout. On Sunday the Golden Knights were shutout 3-0 in Detroit. They had just four points on the four-game road swing. We recap the last two games and discuss Adin Hill's contract extension.

    Prior to Thursday's game in Columbus, Bruce Cassidy told the media that he "didn't want to hear the damn cannon." The Blue Jackets fire it off after every home goal. Well, Cassidy and VGK silenced the cannon by shutting out the home team for the first time in two years, 4-0. Adin Hill stopped 27 shots. The Golden Knights excelled on special teams as Nick Roy scored a power play goal and VGK killed three penalties. Brandon Saad, Pavel Dorofeyev and Alex Pietrangelo also scored goals. And Jack Eichel had an assist to break William Karlsson's team record for points in a season. Eichel now has 79 points. We preview VGK's back-to-back weekend tilts at Buffalo, Saturday and in Detroit the following day. We also have our WTF comments from listeners/viewers.

    The Golden Knights will try to break a two-game losing streak tonight in Columbus, as well as avenge an earlier one-goal loss in Las Vegas to the Blue Jackets. VGK's Alex Pietrangelo had a turnover leading to Cole Sillinger's winning goal. The VGK had two goals erased in that game - one by Barbeshev, the other by Eichel. VGK will face a difficult 1-1-3 defense again, the scoring could be low. We talk about losing goalie confidence and have our locks and predictions for the contest.
