Le Morte D'Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory - Chapter 1

As requested, here is chapter one of this amazing legend, written by Sir Thomas Malory in 1469. It is written in English, despite the (grammatically incorrect) French title.

The English is a little unusual in places, but considering it's nearly 550 years old, it's amazing it makes as much as sense to our modern ears as it does.

For those who don't know, this is essentially the story of King Arthur, beginning with his conception.
