  • JENNIFER is not only one of the first CARRIE rip-offs, but it’s one of the most obvious. The story follows a high school outcast, who is bullied mercilessly by the popular crowd. When Jennifer is pushed too far, she unleashes her supernatural powers to exact vengeance. Unlike Stephen King’s Carrie, Jennifer possesses the power to control snakes, which she uses to slither after those who’ve wronged her. It’s actually a lot better than it sounds.
