  • Taraweeh Teachings Day 18- Dhikr is More Than Just Words
    Mar 19 2025
Saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah is important, but true dhikr extends beyond words. This constant remembrance is not just through words but through our hearts, actions, and consciousness. When we continuously remember Allah, we draw closer to His mercy, protection, and guidance. Allah’s remembrance is not just for rewards—it is a path out of darkness and into the light of guidance, truth, and justice. Are we truly living in the remembrance of Allah, or are we just reciting words without acting upon them? Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPdEo4myWHo

  • Ramadan Reflection Day 17- The Lessons of Badr: Trust in Allah, Preparation, and Victory– Dr. Abdul Wahid
    Mar 18 2025
Badr was not just the first battle in Islam—it was a defining moment in history. Had the believers not been victorious, Islam may not have survived. The Prophet ﷺ and his companions faced overwhelming odds: 319 believers against 1,000 Quraysh warriors. Yet, through faith, preparation, and Allah’s help, they emerged victorious. Are we following the lessons of Badr today? Or are we allowing fear and hesitation to prevent us from standing for the truth? Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_kQVtgFSVo

    Mar 18 2025
Do you treat Islam as a personal ritual or as a complete system for life? Ramadan is the month of the Quran—a time when we immerse ourselves in its recitation, its meanings, and its impact on our lives. But what is the Quran calling us to? Is it just about personal spirituality, or is it meant to transform entire societies? As we reflect this Ramadan, let us not just read the Quran—let us live it, implement it, and work to restore the justice it commands. • Taraweeh Teachings Day 17- Fear or Faith?
    Mar 18 2025
When confronted with truth, do we submit—or do we make excuses? The Quraysh of Mecca, like many today, believed in Allah—but only in name. When the Prophet ﷺ called them to implement Allah’s guidance in every aspect of life, they responded with fear: "If we follow the guidance with you, we will be swept away from our land." (Surah Al-Qasas: 57) Fear of losing their status, wealth, and security held them back from submitting to the very Lord who sustained them, protected them, and provided for them. They failed to realize that the peace of Mecca, its prosperity, and its trade were not from their intelligence or strength, but from Allah alone. This fear did not die with them. Today, when Islam calls for true implementation, the same argument is made. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D6j_3KAf0E

  • Taraweeh Teachings Day 16- If You Slipped, It’s Better for You-A lesson in Humility & Mercy
    Mar 18 2025
What if your guidance was not your achievement, but a test of your humility? Too often, we look at the faults of others and feel superior. We compare our prayers, our actions, and our piety to theirs, as if we have earned our place through our deeds alone. But the truth is stark—our righteousness is not ours. It is a mercy from Allah. Mar 15 2025
How do you respond when someone asks, “How are you?” Is it just “I’m Cool”, “I’m fine,” or “I’m managing”—or do you say, “Alhamdulillah” with conviction? This simple phrase, Alhamdulillah, is more than just words. It’s a declaration of faith, resilience, and submission to Allah’s divine plan. It’s an acknowledgment that everything—good or bad—comes from Him, and in it, there is goodness, even when we don’t see it. Saying Alhamdulillah is not just a habit—it is a way of life, a shield against despair, and a pathway to ultimate success. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwPKKUHar9M

  • Taraweeh Teachings Day 15- Our Parents: A Path to Jannah or Humiliation
    Mar 16 2025
What if your parents could be your key to Jannah—or the reason for your humiliation? We live in a time where independence is glorified, and the moment a child turns 18, the bond between parents and children begins to weaken.Society teaches us that our obligations end when we become adults. Islam teaches the opposite. How many times have we sighed in annoyance at our parents? Rolled our eyes? Ignored their calls? What if those moments were recorded as lost chances for Jannah? We all have moments of neglect. But Alhamdulillah we still have an opportunity! Will we take advantage of the blessing of our parents while we still have them, or will we live to regret it? • The Real Test of Our Faith: Standing Against Oppression
    Mar 15 2025
How have we come to a time where injustice is normalized, oppression is excused, and truth is silenced? This sharp contrast has shaken us again this week when a Palestinian activist, Mahmoud Khalil, is detained without charge, torn from his family, his rights stripped away for speaking out against oppression. On the other, criminals convicted of drug offenses are freed without question, because their release was requested by the powerful. A system. A world built on hypocrisy, where power dictates justice, and oppression is rewarded. And where do we, as Muslims, stand? Are we among those who watch in silence, or are we fulfilling our divine duty to uphold justice? Listen to the Sheik as he explains what our responsibility is to standing against oppression.
