Shante “Pep Talk Tae” Brooks, a native of Richmond, Virginia, and alumna of Virginia Union University, has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. Starting her career in the corporate sector with companies like Bank of America and Wells Fargo, Shante transitioned to media, becoming a dynamic presence on Atlanta’s HITS 92.3 with her show, “Pep Talk with Tae.”

In 2023, Shante emceed Black Media Honors panel discussions, was nominated for Radio Podcast Host of the Year, and was featured in several magazines as an influencer and a woman to watch in media. Her hosting prowess extends to high-profile events like the 2024 Black Music Honors, Kinnik Sky’s “Peace Be Still,” and Dr. Ebony M. Empowers’ “Push Brunch.” Shante also hosts diverse events from wedding receptions to women empowerment gatherings and is an emcee at City Winery ATL.

Recently, she launched the “Live With Tae” Talk Show, known for its real conversations with notable personalities and community event highlights, encapsulated by her slogan, “Tae Beez Outside.” She is also co-host of Kiss Radio Morning Show Live. Shante is also a featured author in the compilation “Girl, You’re the Sh*t,” sharing her story “Living Beyond the Mask.” She was awarded Celebrity Media Host of Year 2024 and Lifetime Presidential Achievement Award.

Passionate about community service, Shante partners with nonprofits such as Girls Who Brunch, to mentor youth.
