There was once a time in the league’s history when the NFL was referred to as the “No Female League”. Those days are long gone. Today’s NFL has six female owners, more than any of the other major professional leagues combined. I LOVE football! I was raised in the mid-70's as a tomboy in a house of boys with a dad who was a high school volunteer football and softball/baseball coach. I was a multi-sport athletic myself and was inducted into my high school's hall of fame for Softball. BUT I loved playing flag football in the back yard with my brothers and neighbor boys. To this day, I will watch a football game over any other program on TV. My husband will get frustrated during a game and go do something else while I continue to watch until the very end.

I loved this series and learning about how the league became what it is today!
