  • First, the plaintiff brings his neighbor to court. He says they’ve had problems over parking because there’s one space that can fit two cars, but the defendant always parks in the middle of the spot so there’s no room for him. He claims the defendant scratched his car and caused thousands of dollars in damage. The plaintiff is suing for damages. The defendant argues the plaintiff acts like the parking spot is only his. She says she didn’t scratch the car. Then, the plaintiff hired the defendant to print logos on hundreds of shirts. He says the defendant botched the job and printed the wrong logo on all the apparel. The plaintiff had to pay for new shirts out of pocket, so he’s suing for his money back. The defendant argues he’s been in business for years and isn’t at fault. Plus, the plaintiff moved in with her boyfriend’s niece, but then she got in a fight with the defendant’s boyfriend and got kicked out. She says the defendant threw out her belongings, so she’s suing. The defendant argues she asked the plaintiff for rent, but then she moved out immediately.
