    Join Joel as he unravels part 1 of Agent Crowley’s mark on MK-Ultra as he explores Aleister’s fascination with the Divine Cactus, or peyote. Crowley’s experimentation with the plant in achieving Samadhi, or “Union with God”, to connect with his Holy Guardian Angel to receive guidance. Early experiments from men like Charles Henry Allan Bennett, John Raleigh Briggs, George S. Davis, James Mooney, Dr. Silas Weir Mitchell and member of the Golden Dawn, William Butler Yeats all set the tone for the hidden trials the Great Beast would embark on. Lastly, Joel looks at Crowley's mescaline parties he performed in the United States and his use of the drug to bring him closer to what he believed were the Secret Chiefs.

This podcast inspires deep thinking

Joel doesn't discuss casual, shallow subjects, he goes deep and inspires others to think deeply also. I love how completely he researches his topics. I won't lie, sometimes he goes way beyond what my brain can comprehend. there are always twists and turns and things I've never considered before.

delving into the esoteric without getting too weird lol

I love that every episode is not only interesting and engaging but the way Joel goes about discussing things it always pulls me to my Bible and that's a great place to me. plus his music is great.
